Fitment: (2016-2017) Yamaha YXZ 1000R, (2017) YXZ 1000 SS. Adding 4 or 5-Point Harnesses to your YXZ does wonders to increase safety and comfort but they only do that when installed properly! When we got our hands on the new YXZ we noticed right away that the crossbar in the cage was way to high to mount the shoulder straps of the harness correctly so we came up with a solution. In addition, other after-market harness bars drop the shoulder mounting height compared to the factory cross-bar but still do not achieve the proper position at or below the riders shoulders. Our Harness Anchor Kit mounts securely to the frame of the vehicle and places the mounting tabs lower, allowing straps to pull straight down. The kit includes enough Anchors and Tab mounts to outfit both seats of the YXZ platform.
