Spring is finally here and 2019 model year machines are starting to be announced!  So far we have seen the Can-Am Maverick Sport and Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 EPS launch for the 2019 model year, two very different machines from the largest UTV manufacturers.

Let's take a look at the highlights of these new machines and see what they are all about.

2019 Can-Am Maverick Sport

The Maverick line up has become quite diverse over the last few years.  This new Sport model has the same 60” stance as the original Maverick but is 1.1” shorter in height and has a longer wheel base by 6.6”.  The idea behind this was to create a machine that feels very confidently planted to the ground without sacrificing the ability to navigate trails.

27” Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires on aluminum wheels get the power to the ground.  FOX 2.0 Podium shocks take care of soaking up the trail boasting 11.5” of front suspension travel, 12” of travel in the rear, and 12” of ground clearance to make this machine very capable and comfortable.  Speaking of comfort, the Ergo-Lok cockpit is to be spacious, have plentiful storage, and provide a high level of comfort, good for rides that last all day.

1,000cc 75 and 100 horsepower Rotax V-Twin engine options are available with a large 10-gallon fuel tank for a long day of play, even for us lead footed drivers.  The intakes are located nice and high on the machine to keep you worry free when playing in the mud pits or conquering water crossings.

The Maverick Sport also comes with full skid plates installed on the frame, integrated front steel bumper, steel frame half doors, with 100's of additional upgrades available from Can-Am.  Starting at $14,699 for the base model and $16,499 for the DPS model, the new Maverick Sport packs a lot of exciting features into this new platform.  If you got your eyes on the 2019 Can-Am Maverick Sport, check out the tire and wheel packages we have to offer for it by clicking here!

2019 Ranger Crew XP 1000 EPS

The new body style Ranger XP 1000 EPS is now available in a Crew model with seating for 6, and a slew of refinements incorporated into the design.  The seats are now 25% thicker to keep you and your passengers more comfortable. A new interior with 2 glove boxes, 8 cup holders, front-to-rear pass through storage, and flip-up under seat storage totaling 19 gallons of space allow you to stow not only more, but larger items than possible before.  5 more inches of clearance has been incorporated at both the front and rear entry points to make getting in and out even easier.

A 999cc, 82 horsepower ProStar engine is at the heart of the machine, with new 27” Maxxis MU51 tires on aluminum wheels getting the ponies to the ground.  A new front bumper provides 25% more protection than before and full body skid plate is in place from the factory.  The turning radius has been reduced by 10% compared to the ‘18 model and engine braking re-vamped for smoother descents, and less wear on the brakes.

This Ranger has 13" of ground clearance, 11” of suspension travel on tap in the front and rear, sitting 62.5" wide, 152" long, 72" tall, with a 113" wheel base.  Starting at $16,299 you and your crew can all ride together for a day full of fun on the trails.  Thinking about getting one of your own?  Check out the tire and wheel packages we have to offer by clicking here!
