One of the first things people add to their ATV or UTV are wheels and/or tires after bringing it home from the dealer.  Tire manufacturers are always trying to find the next popular thing and Maxxis hit the nail on the head with their release of the Maxxis Carnivore, just as the UTV market was exploding.

Maxxis is one of the most popular and reputable tire manufacturers in the world for off-road machines; whether it be dirt bikes, ATVs, and now UTVs (or Side by Sides).  Maxxis understands that these machines are used in a variety of terrains and even on a variety of machines.

They know that an all terrain tire that might be great for ATVs isn't necessarily the best option for UTVs.  This was obvious in their thought process when developing the Carnivore tire and what sizes it comes in.

Available in 28x10-14, 29x9.5-15, 30x10-14, and 32x10-14 sizes, it's obvious Maxxis had the UTV market in mind with a focus on an all around tire that has no glaring weaknesses.

With a lot of side by sides now coming stock with 28"-32" tires, Carnivores can fit on those machines with little-to-no modifications.

When it came to tire construction, Maxxis decided to go with an 8 ply radial construction which offers riders a tough tire that will also give a smooth ride.

With the open lug spacing and aggressive sidewall, the Carnivore has some bite to go with it.

It's not going to be the best tire for the serious mud guys, but it won't leave you stuck at the first sign of mud.

One other thing that riders love about the Carnivore is the square profile of the tire.  Not only does the square profile look great on the machine but it also allows the aggressive sidewall to do its job while cornering compared to "rounder profile" tires that will let the machine slide while cornering.
