Before the weather turns too cold, we decided to take one last trip for the season and to check out the new Hatfield-McCoy Warrior trails located in the City of War, West Virginia.  We took our 2018 Can-Am Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R to test out the new trail system.

The 65+ mile Warrior trails are mostly comprised of green (easiest) and blue (more difficult) trails.  The green trails make up 52% of the Warrior trails, while the blue trails make up another 34%.

Like most trails in the Northeast, including the other trails that make up the Hatfield-McCoy trail system, the Warrior trails are a mix of all-terrain and rocky hill riding.

One of the things we really enjoy when traveling for rides is the ability to ride our machines on the roads. As you can see, it makes a quick trip to Wendy's for some grub just a quick jolt down the road.

Our crew stayed in "The Calvary House" by A Bit of Heaven Rentals. The accommodations were A+ and located just 1/4 mile off the Warrior trailhead. As you can see, there is plenty of room for parking.
